Course Description

  • Architecture 1 of 2 is the first part of a two-term course designed to introduce students to the ideas, principles, and methods of architectural design. During the course, students will learn about the architectural concepts of space, form, function, environment, and technology, and they will explore the architectural principles of composition, history, preservation, landscape architecture, planning, and urban design.
